Genessy Jaramillo was chosen as one of just fifteen emerging commercial real estate professionals nationwide, underscoring her leadership, industry impact, and continued commitment to excellence in development-focused brokerage.
Now in its ninth year, the scholarship program — created by NAIOP in partnership with Prologis — aims to build a stronger pipeline of talent for development and operations roles in commercial real estate.
The program connects rising leaders with seasoned mentors, expands access to educational programming, and strengthens industry networks to foster long-term career advancement.

Jaramillo currently serves as Managing Director at BKREA, where she specializes in development site and air rights sales across Manhattan, working closely with the firm’s Chairman & CEO.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Jaramillo holds active real estate licenses in Florida, Tennessee, and New York. She earned her Business Management degree from the University of Central Florida.
Beyond her brokerage achievements, Jaramillo serves as Chair of NAIOP NYC Metro’s Developing Leaders Committee and has been honored as a Next Generation Award recipient for her impact on Manhattan development site and air rights transactions.
